Daddy's Honorable Discharge Papers

I came across these papers of my Dad's Honorable Discharge Papers from the MS State Guard.  I remember he had a Sailer's cap but not sure it this was part of it. 

Happy "Heavenly 105th Birthday, MOM

Today, I'm thinking about our Mother on her 105th Heavenly Birthday. She died at 58 years of age from pancreatic cancer on St. Patrick's Day 1979. She is missed by my sister, Laura Love Ables, and me. We love and miss you so much.

Happy "Belated" Birthday to Me!

This little girl, me, turned 85 years old on January 27th and forgot to post it on our family blog.  I'm a proud mother of 4 daughters, a son (deceased), 6 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, and 5 great-grandsons.  So blessed to have lived this long to enjoy my family that I love so much.  Happy Birthday to me!

Happy 60th Birthday, Kathy!

On January 21, 1966, my daughter, Kathleen (Kathy) Love Boyd Day, was born at 4:21-½ in the morning. She is 60 years old today and the only daughter out of four, who is a deer hunter. In this picture, we were hunting at Homewood Hunting Club in Claiborne County, MS, back in the early ’20s. We have had some fantastic hunts together and made some good memories. I’m wishing Kathy a very Happy 60th Birthday today. Have a Blessed one, Kathy! I Love you, MOM xoxo
