Today, my youngest great-grandson, Asher, who lives in Kentucky, is celebrating his birthday. He is 5 years old. He was here at his grandmother's home in Raymond recently for a celebration with family. Wishing him the best birthday ever. I love you so much, Asher! Great Gran Gran

Happy 13th Birthday, Kate!

Today, my granddaughter, Katherine Elizabeth "Kate," became a teenager. She is the youngest granddaughter of six precious granddaughters.  Kate lives in Fredericksburg, VA, and I will be calling her to wish her a very Happy 13th Birthday.  Gran Gran loves you so much.

Mom's Anniversary Death on St. Patrick's Day

Remembering our Mother on St. Patrick's Day, who passed away at the age of 58 from pancreatic cancer in 1979.  She is in our thoughts and prayers today.  We love and miss you, Mom.  (Laura Love Ables)

I came across these papers of my Dad's Honorable Discharge Papers from the MS State Guard.  I remember he had a Sailer's cap but not sure it this was part of it. 

Happy "Heavenly 105th Birthday, MOM

Today, I'm thinking about our Mother on her 105th Heavenly Birthday. She died at 58 years of age from pancreatic cancer on St. Patrick's Day 1979. She is missed by my sister, Laura Love Ables, and me. We love and miss you so much.

Happy "Belated" Birthday to Me!

This little girl, me, turned 85 years old on January 27th and forgot to post it on our family blog.  I'm a proud mother of 4 daughters, a son (deceased), 6 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, and 5 great-grandsons.  So blessed to have lived this long to enjoy my family that I love so much.  Happy Birthday to me!
