A day late posting my first born daughter and nurse, Theresa Marie "Teri" Bryant was 54 years old yesterday. She was a nurse for over 25 years and was due the day President Kennedy was assassinated but came early on Veterans Day. She has one daughter, Sonya, who served our country in the U.S. Navy. 30 Years Ago Today

It has been 30 years since my Dad (Marion Edward Love, Sr.) passed away and this was the last picture of us together.  It was taken around the end of October 1987.  He was a diabetic and died within a week after suffering a massive heart attack while hitting the Wisconsin bridge abutment.  I love and miss him every day of my life.  June 12, 1916 ~ November 7, 1987

Today my daughter, Debra Ann turned 48 years old.  She was my fourth child out of five children that I gave birth too.  She works as a Nanny for two Doctors that are married and loves her job and so good with children.  I'm proud of her in what she has accomplished in her life.  She has two sons, Stephen and Ethan (serving in the Air Force stationed in Africa) and daughter, Lucy who gave birth last month to a son and became a Grandmother for the very first time.  Wishing Debra a very Happy Birthday on her "Special" day and may she have many more returns of the day.  I love you!  MOM

My third Great Grandson, William David "Will" Kelly was born on Thursday, September 28, 2017.  He was named after my son, William David Boyd, who would have been 53 years old on October 25 and died on October 26, 1964.  He was Lucy Kelly's Uncle and honored him and me by naming him.  I was in Fredericksburg, VA, visiting Suzi and family when he was born and weighed 8 lb.s 5 oz and 21 inches long at 2:47 p.m.

Happy 17th Wedding Anniversary!

Wishing my youngest daughter, Marian Suzanne (Suzi) and son-in-law, Dennis, a very Happy 17th Wedding Anniversary today.  

They were married at the Chapel At Cedar Grove and stayed overnight at Cedar Grove Mansion Inn in Vicksburg, MS.  Later they flew to Spain and took a Mediterranean Cruise for their honeymoon.  

Suzi and Dennis live in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and he works for the FAA in Washington, DC.  They have given me two beautiful granddaughters, Emma 9-years-old and Kate 4-years-old. I love you all so very much!  MOM

Happy 23rd Birthday, Ethan!

Wishing my grandson, Michael "Ethan" Kelly a very Happy 23rd Birthday.  Ethan is my youngest grandson and used to baby-sit him when he was much younger.  Ethan is married now to Kaitlyn and lives in North Carolina.  He signed up for the U. S. Air Force for 6 years and will be deployed again this fall to Africa.  I hope he has a very Happy Birthday and that I love him and miss him a lot!

My Grandson, Michael "Ethan" has been serving in the U.S. Air Force for our country since 2012 and will be deployed overseas again in the fall. 

Also, Granddaughter, Sonya Michelle served in the U. S. Navy and was stationed at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA, where she became ill and was honorably discharged.  She had signed up for 6 years and planned to be a linguist.  She  attended both MS State and University of Southern MS.  I'm so proud of both of my grandchildren in serving their country. 

To all the brave men and women who are serving in uniform today and to our heroes, we thank you and May God Bless American on this Memorial Day 2017.

My Great Grandson, Tidus David Barnhart, lives in Great Falls, Montana and I don't get to see him at all since he lives so far away.  I wish I could be with him today to celebrate his birthday but can't.  I do hope he has a fun filled 'special' day and gets lots of presents.

Tidus David is shown here with a cute penguin recently when he went to a marine water park featuring whales, sea lions, dolphins and other marine animals.  What fun he must have had!

Today, a Gender Party was held for Lucy to find out if she was going to have a boy or a girl.  Family and friends showed up for the event to celebrate!  A baby shower will be held in August for Lucy who is due the end of September or first of October.  Congratulations to Lucy on having a boy!
