My Great Great Grandfather William H. Wilder

Mark Palms - Found the photo of an ancestor at the Cabildo Museum on Jackson Square. William Wilder married Marie “Theresa” Palms, a harpist & linguist. He solved the Myra Gaines Clark lawsuit case - the longest-running lawsuit in the history of the US Supreme Court in New Orleans that went on for 65 years (1834-1890). They named a daughter after Myra Gaines.

Margarete "Gretchen" Fiedler - It was William Heatley Wilders granddaughter Myra Clark Gaines Mazerat - who was named after Myra Clark Gaines, who had become her godmother. While the case on her behalf was being fought; she spent much time living in the William Heatley Wilder home. She was considered extended family. The final resting place of Myra Clark Gaines is in Saint Louis Cemetery number one, which was donated by her Godchild, my grandmother - Myra Clark Gaines Mazerat Huff.

Happy 14th Birthday Tidus David Barnhart

This picture of my oldest Great Grandson Tidus David, was taken in 2018.  Tomorrow he will celebrate his 14th Birthday in Great Falls, Montana.  The last time I saw Tidus, he was only a year old.  We do talk to one another, but it's not the same as seeing him.  Wishing Tidus David a very Happy 14th Birthday!  I love and miss you so much.  Great Gran Gran  xoxo

5th Great Grandson Asher Ransom Kelly 5/8/2021

Asher Ransom Kelly was born Saturday at 5:31 p.m., and my 5th Great Grandson. He weighed 6lbs.11oz. His Mom, Caitlyn is doing great and said he was 20.5 inches long, and if she had gone to term with him she would have had a toddler. My grandson, Ethan who is stationed in ND, in the Air Force, is one proud Dad. What a great Mother’s Day gift. My congratulations to the new parents. Sending lots of love and hugs to the family. 

I received this picture last night of my 5th great-grandson with his eyes open. Asher Ransom Kelly was born Saturday, May 8th at 5:31 pm, 6lbs. 11 ozs., and 20.5 inches long. Mom, Caitlyn, and Dad, Ethan in the U.S. Air Force in ND, are new parents. Congratulations again and send my love and hugs to the family.
