KINGSTON, NY ~ Bonita M. “Bonnie” Reilly, 91, wife of the late Philip F. Reilly whom she was married to for over 70 years, of Denver Road died Tuesday evening, March 6, 2018, surrounded by her family at home in the care of Hospice. Born Aug. 16, 1926, in Florida and raised in Vicksburg, Miss., she was a daughter of the late James Arthur and Frances (Floyd) Mason. Known to everyone as “Ma”, Bonnie enjoyed bowling in the Sunday Night Mixed League. “Ma’s” house was the place for everything to happen and for people to gather. She was sure to tell anyone coming for a visit to “bring me a coffee”. Surviving are her three daughters, Linda Reilly of Kingston, Suzanne Erikson of Highland, Phyllis Hofbauer and her husband Tim of Kingston; her only son, Michael Reilly and his wife Diane of Kingston; along with five grandchildren, Tammy Mitchell and her husband Jeff, Carrie Metzger and her husband Thomas, Marc Reilly, Jamie Hofbauer, and Jennifer Mackey; eight great-grandchildren, Riley, Brady, Taylor, Olivia, Victoria, Thomas, Kayden, and Michael; a nephew, Timothy Smythe; and a niece, Debbie Sudal. Bonnie’s grandson, David Reilly; and brothers and sisters, LeRoy Mason, Charles Mason, Ruby Duncan, Evelyn Love, Mayme Mason, and Hillary Mason, all died previously. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc. 27 Smith Avenue. www.jvleahyfh.com Friends will be received Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. The funeral procession will form Monday 9 a.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Church. Burial will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers may be made in the form of contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn., 38105.
